Biography

Wael Hosni is a German Consultant of Obstetrics and Gynecology with special interests and advanced certifications in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery, Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery. He completed his residency in teaching hospitals of the renowned Cologne University in Germany. He is a German Board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist (Facharzt). He has a stellar academic and professional background and worked for several years as a consultant (Oberarzt) in the teaching hospitals of Cologne University.He is also a visiting Surgeon for several hospitals in the Middle East. He is an all-rounded gynecological surgeon. In addition to being a Urogynecologist & Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon; he has an outstanding expertise in the vaginal and the abdominal surgical techniques. He is also a vNOTES surgeon (vaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery) and was one of the first 3 surgeons to introduce this minimally invasive surgical technique in Germany. He is vice president of Emirates Obstetrics & Gynecology Society and a member of the German Society of Gynecology & Obstetrics (DGGG), the German Society of Urogynecology & Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery, the German Continence Society, the International iNOTES Society, the German Society of Gynecological Endoscopy, the European Society of Gynecological Endoscopy (ESGE) and the International Society of Gynecological Endoscopy.
