Biography

Nicoletta Di Simone is a distinguished academic and clinician in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, currently serving as a Full Professor and Director of the Postgraduate School of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Humanitas University in Milan, Italy. She graduated in Medicine in 1988 from the Catholic University of Rome, where she also completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1992. From 1994 to 1996, she pursued a fellowship at the National Center for Infertility Research at Massachusetts General Hospital – Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA, further strengthening her expertise in reproductive medicine. Her academic journey includes key international appointments, such as Visiting Professor at the Prenatal Medicine Research Unit, Universitäts Frauenklinik, Kantonsspital Basel, Switzerland (2001). She was elected as a member of the Society of Reproductive Investigation (SRI) in 2008 and, in 2019, became a Board Member of the Vatican Foundation’s International Scientific Institute Paolo VI. Her leadership, extensive research contributions, and commitment to education make her a prominent figure in advancing women's health and reproductive science globally.
