Title: A rare case report of ectopic molar pregnancy at broad ligament

Abstract

We report below the rare case of invasive complete molar pregnancy situated in the broad ligament in a multigravida of a 25-year-old woman. Ectopic molar pregnancies are extremely rare forms of gestational trophoblastic disease. Reports in the literature concludes that they can occur in any part of the pelvic cavity. Their clinical presentation mimiced that of an intrauterine pregnancy however suction and evacuation raised the suspicion when no vesicles were suctioned out.  The diagnosis can be tricky for the radiologist as well, they are invariably managed by surgical treatment followed by chemotherapy.
